Our Rusticos have their own special charm: mostly found in small Italian mountain villages, these are picturesque rustic houses which were often used in earlier times as farmhouses.  In true Lombardy building tradition, only typical local materials can be used for Rustico restoration.  Stone stairways, walls of massive natural stone, pretty outdoor pergola and seating areas, small windows, and old solid timber are all characteristic of Rustico cottage construction, with modern elements such as new windows, doors and massive roofs complementing the more traditional features.
